Roles and Responsibilities

Based at REACH Youth Powerhouse (Bukit Batok).

Together with the Team and Supervisor he/she reports to, he/she will plan and implement youth engagement and outreach efforts, develop and manage programmes, and carry out community, group work and casework (under supervision).

He/she should be able to carry his/her day-to-day duties and roles independently and under supervision.

He/she is also required to apply knowledge of relevant youth development theories based on his/her understanding of youth development and the current youth landscape, as well as adhere to the Code of Ethical Practice for Youth Workers.

He/she should be passionate about developing the goodness and strengths of youths, empowering them to become positive and strong individuals who are well-adjusted and contribute to society.

He/she should be a service-oriented and committed team player who is able to carry out his/her duties professionally at all times.

Requirements

- Possess a Diploma in a relevant field of Social Science and/or have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in youth work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outgoing, energetic, self-motivated & independent worker.
- Passionate in the areas of outreach, community work, youth mental well-being and youth mentoring.
- IT-savvy and competent with various social media platforms.
* Skillsets in Fitness, Esports and/or Visual Arts are appreciated.

Requirements

  • Possess at least a Degree in Counselling Work
  • A Graduate Diploma in Couple and Family Therapy will be an added advantage

Reporting to the Senior Health Management Executive or Head of Senior Service, the Health Management Executive will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Membership Registration and Management
  • Small Group Program Management

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma certification in any discipline with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Project Management and Enterprise Management knowledge preferred.
  • Resourceful and able to do public speaking when handling events and projects.
  • Conversant in English and any 2nd language with ability to converse in local dialect would be an advantage for elderly clients
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications especially in MS PowerPoint and MS Publisher
  • A good team-player with a passion to work with Seniors
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Programme Executive plays an important role in connecting and engaging with the Seniors. He/she is responsible for the following key areas.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and manage engagement programme held at designated neighborhood touchpoints for the Seniors within the Senior Centre.
  • Allocate appropriate resources, recruitment of seniors / volunteers / partners for the programmes, and to plan and execute publicity for such events.
  • Supervise and train volunteers / partners in the running of the above programmes and provide administrative support to volunteers / partners involved.
  • Monitor the Seniors’ safety and well-being.
  • Monitor the AAS (Alert Alarm System) and SC phone and its maintenance.
  • Conduct community outreach within the vicinity of the service area and perform needs assessment to ascertain service needs and gaps of the senior residents.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess technical diploma certificate or relevant certification
  • Capable to train volunteers to facilitate creative arts / baking / cooking / singing / music instruments / florist / live streaming in senior programmes.
  • Ability to host or deliver programmes in front of a crowd of 10 – 80 seniors.
  • Experience in social services not essential.
  • Good team-player, with a passion to work with seniors.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

The Rehabilitation Coach will provide mentoring, counseling, and communication to clients and their families to facilitate the positive development of the clients through the daily processes.

You will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Provide mentoring, counseling, and communication to clients and their families to facilitate the positive development of the clients through the daily processes.
  • Maintain orderly conduct of clients both inside and outside the facility in line with the expectations of the guidelines.
  • Maintain proper documentation and timely submission of reports as required.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the facilities and logistics.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology. Fresh graduates will be considered.
  • Good interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
  • Knowledge of adolescent and/or human development
  • Ability to communicate with and engage in sports and activities with youth
  • Ability to counsel and mentor youth and work with the families of the youth
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and basic statistical analysis
