Cynthia is a certified trained Primary School teacher for the past 10 years; working with children with special needs; such as ADHD, autism and dyslexia. She believes that each child is unique and special, having his/her mind of their own; regardless of their physical or psychological ability. She is also mentoring youths and young adults in her voluntary work for the past 8 years. Having a special heart and compassion towards children and youths, Cynthia believes that a family unit is an important foundation in building up one’s emotional and psychological well-being. She also believes in providing emotional and psychological support to the family who are going through difficult period.
Her beliefs are demonstrated as she works closely with lower income family, through Home Ownership Plus Education (HOPE) Scheme where she conducts mentoring sessions with families, providing support in their marital, parenting and emotional needs. She also provides counselling sessions to individuals, couples and children. In addition, she handles distressed, suicidal, family violence and marital related cases (premarital, divorce cases).
Cynthia conducts workshops such as Parenting Styles, 5 Loves Languages and Communicating with Teens, for individuals and couples.
