June provides families in the Home Ownership Plus Education (HOPE) Scheme with mentoring as well as social and emotional support. Her job scope includes providing encouragement and guidance to families as they work towards upgrading themselves while journeying with them as they grow as a family. She also provides counselling on marital, family, individuals, and relationship issues.

June has had opportunities to work with the youths and has found enjoyment in working with them. She hopes to have opportunities to work more closely with them on the many obstacles they face in their tumultuous age. June provides a safe and non-judgemental space for them to talk about what they are feeling and develop ways to improve they well-being.

June believes that everyone deserves to feel better, live better and find peace and happiness. Her beliefs are Counselling is like gardening, every relationship needs soil and watering to nourish the transplant. A seedling develops, it proves to the individual that their actions made a difference. As the plant thrives, it builds self-esteem, it builds confidence, and it makes the person feel like it’s their success.
