Regaining Mobility

Mr Yap faces mobility issues after suffering from a stroke a few years ago. As a result, he requires a walking frame to move about at home and his spouse to push him on the wheelchair whenever he is outdoors.

When Mr Yap learned about the activities offered at our senior centre, he signed up to be a member and has since been active in exercise programmes and massage sessions. Over time, it was observed that Mr Yap’s physical health improved significantly. Mr Yap, who previously struggled to stand up from his wheelchair and required assistance, can now stand up on his own. He is also more confident in his physical abilities and has become more mentally alert.
