Mdm Ng is an 84 year old resident of Bukit Batok, who, alongside her husband, navigates life with age-related health challenges. As a homemaker, Mdm Ng often finds herself battling fatigue. Despite her awareness of REACH Senior Centre @ Bukit Gombak Vista, she initially hesitated to seek assistance. However, through REACH’s persistent outreach and engagement efforts, Mdm Ng gradually became more receptive.

Upon discovering her financial struggles, we swiftly provided her with essential food rations, alleviating her immediate burdens. Subsequently, we encouraged her to partake in the centre’s diverse programs. Over time, Mdm Ng blossomed within the centre’s supportive community, forging new friendships and embracing a newfound sense of vitality.

She particularly enjoys our Community Cafe, where she eagerly participates in health talks and craft activities. With passion and creativity, Mdm Ng also immerses herself in craftwork, deriving joy and satisfaction from completing her handicraft projects.
