At REACH Counselling Service, we work hand-in-hand with the government and other organisations to provide professional counselling and mentoring services to couples in need. We are proud and committed to working closely with our clients who have been referred to us through the different organisations and schemes available.
The Home Ownership Plus Education (HOPE) Scheme is a comprehensive scheme initiated by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), to support families working towards breaking out of the poverty cycle.
REACH is one of the approved agencies that provide the mentoring programme under the HOPE Scheme.
We work with young low-income families through mentoring sessions, allowing them to maximise their resources to achieve a better life for themselves and their children through stable employment.
Our mentoring sessions are bi-annual. Through these sessions, we work with families to build resilience and provide them with emotional and social support. We also link them up with other community resources that can help them such as Self-Help Group Centres. We also work to empower and motivate couples to seek skills upgrading to gain better employment and financial independence.
